Our Approach

Each child is unique and every effort is made to help children reach their full potential, to strengthen positive attitudes towards themselves, others, and of course, learning. Our curriculum is based on Aistear guidelines and we encourage learning through play and the Montessori Method. We recognise and support the unique differences in children and aim to develop their self-confidence by building on what they can do, and, through curriculum planning, extend their knowledge and skills.

Children are encouraged to organise their own play thus fostering independence and also attempt to solve their own problems within a safe, nurturing family-like atmosphere. Children's efforts as well as their achievements will be recognised. We aim to mentally and socially stimulate each child. Our play equipment is chosen to develop hand-eye co-ordination, motor and language skills; while we will also help the children develop their social, emotional and cognitive skills.
